Planning a worship service is hard work and takes a lot of time. You need a lot of information to make those choices so these new chord charts were designed to put helpful information at your fingertips.
Like standard chord charts, you will find the basic song lyrics chord progressions and song structure. However, the enhanced chord charts featured in The Essential Modern Worship Fakebook were designed with the specific needs of the Worship Leader. Keeping those needs in mind, scripture references have been identified for each song. Organizing worship sets is made easy with a table that lists the main themes of the song as well as tempo, key and vocal range of each song. For easy song transitions, we have included suggestions by theme, tempo and key. Like the leadsheets in the Fakebook, these chord charts are in congregationally friendly keys.
Our enhanced chord charts are included as a bonus on the CD-Rom inside the Fakebook. When the CD Rom is in your computer, you can click on the speaker icon in the upper left corner of the chord charts to hear demo recordings of each song. If you find that you need the more traditional piano vocal sheet music, you can click on the worshiptogether.com logo and it will take you to the website where you can download the sheet music in whichever key you would like.
