Fear The Lord

VERSE 1
Holy Spirit teach me how to fear the Lord
That you would have priority
More than just a friend, You are the great reward
I can’t dethrone the King of Kings

CHORUS
God Almighty
This is my repentance I will bow in reverence
Awestruck wonder
Caught up in your presence fearing You in reverence

VERSE 2
When I fear the Lord I start to understand
Wisdom comes from You alone
I will learn to love and follow your commands
You increase and I’ll go low

CHORUS
God Almighty
This is my repentance I will bow in reverence
Awestruck wonder
Caught up in your presence fearing You in reverence

BRIDGE 1
I will give my life to fear the Lord
Walk in step with your Spirit
Everything that tries to come against
Cannot stand in your presence
I will give my life to fear the Lord
Walk in step with your Spirit
Everything that tries to come against
Cannot stand in your presence

BRIDGE 2
We will be the church victorious
Boasting only in Jesus
Nations rage and kingdoms fall apart
Yours is only
Sing it we will be
We will be the church victorious
Boasting only in Jesus
Nations rage and kingdoms fall apart
Yours is only increasing oh

CHORUS
God Almighty
This is my repentance I will bow in reverence Lord
Awestruck wonder
Caught up in your presence fearing You in reverence
