The Angels Sing

VERSE 1
The night was heavy with the wait
Peace and Hope were hard to find
Then heaven’s breath became a babe
The face of God in humankind

CHORUS
O praise the Lamb
The Lamb of God
The One who was
And now has come
And He shall reign
Forevermore
The angels sing
That Christ is born

VERSE 2
The shepherds trembled at the sound
A million voices filled the sky
They knew they stood on holy ground
And knelt before the Holy Child

The Lamb of God
The One who was
And now has come
And He shall reign
Forevermore
The angels sing
That Christ is born

Emmanuel our God with us
O come let us adore Him
Sing the angel chorus
Glory in the highest
